 14The rate of marijuana has increased in all the age groups. People inhale Marijuana for different reasons. Some of them take to feel relax or “high”. There are some long and some short-term effect. Long Term effects are: 

  1.  Mood swings
  2. Reduced ability to learn
  3. Lung infections
  4.  Inhibited mental development
  5. Panic attacks
  6. Memory loss

Cancer, breathing problems, lung infections, and damage to immune system. It may cause changes in the function of the brain. Marijuana effects on teens (http://www.nida.nih.gov/Marijbroch/teenref.html). Some Short-term effects are: thirst, hunger, anxiety. It may affect the memory, perception, muscle tasks, negative effect on work, sports, and study. Intake of marijuana effects the babies IQ those are exposed to marijuana before the birth.

 

MENTAL ILLNESS

Marijuana is linked with the psychoses and heavy intake can cause drug potency. Regular use can cause anxiety and depression. Greater use can affect the disease trajectory. Research has shown that brain is not properly developed till the age of 25. Marijuana can affect brain development and function.

Marijuana is linked with vascular conditions that increase in the stroke and attacks during the intake of marijuana intoxication. There are many cardiovascular and cerebrovascular systems that are affected by intake of marijuana. It can decrease the blood pressure, that can faint the people. Moreover, smoking can damage the blood vessels.
